Ingredients:
Drumsticks – 300 gms
Poppy Seeds – 1/2 cup
Mustard Oil – 2 tblsp
Turmeric Powder – 1 tblsp
Salt to taste
Water – 3 1/2 cups
Method:
1. Peel and cut the drumsticks into finger-sized pieces.
2. Wash and soak the poppy seeds in 1/2 cup of water for 30 minutes.
3. Grind to a paste.
4. Heat the mustard oil.
5. Saute the drumsticks for a few seconds.
6. Add the turmeric powder, salt, poppy seed paste and the remaining water.
7. Cook for 25-30 minutes or till the drumsticks are done.
