Sago Sweet Pongal

Sago/Sabundana
Ingredients:
Sago – 2 cups, lightly fried
Water – 5 to 6 cups
Milk – 4 cups
Condensed Milk – 2 cups (adjust as desired)
Cream – 1/2 cup
Moong Dal – 1/2 cup, dry roasted, cooked
Ghee – 2 tblsp
Cashewnuts – few, fried
Raisins – few, fried
Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp

Method:
1. Boil water in a large pan.
2. Add sago and cook till soft.
3. Remove and drain excess water.
4. Combine the cooked sago with milk, dal and condensed milk.
5. Cook for a few minutes till thick and creamy.
6. Remove the pan from heat.
7. Pour cream and mix well.
8. Add ghee, cashewnuts, raisins and cardamom powder.
9. Stir well.
10. Serve.
