Karthigai Pori Recipe

Rice Flakes – 2 cups
Fried Gram – 2 tblsp
Dark Sticky Jaggery – 1 cup
Coconut Pieces – 1 tblsp
Roasted Peanuts – 1 tblsp

1. Mix all ingredients except jaggery in a large bowl.
2. Prepare a thick jaggery syrup till a soft ball consistency is attained.
3. Pour the syrup gradually into the bowl and mix quickly. Use only required syrup.
4. When it is still hot, roll into big balls between the hands.

Tip: Rub a little rice flour in the hands so that the jaggery does not stick.

    You can use standard Britannia cheese that you get in the super market.
