Bitter Gourd – 1/4 kg
Small Onion – 1, minced
Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Curry Leaves – 2 sprigs
Thick Coconut Milk – 1/2 cup
Oil – 2 tblsp
Juice of 1/2 Lemon
Salt to taste

1. Wash, cut bitter gourd into very small pieces.
2. Heat oil, fry gourd pieces along with salt, curry leaves, turmeric and chilli powdr till crisp and brown. Remove and cool.
3. To gourd pieces add minced onion, lemon juice and coconut milk. Mix.
4. Serve as an accompaniment.
