Ingredients:
Toovar Dal – 1 cup
Rice – 1 cup
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Cloves – 2
Cinnamon – 2 sticks
Ghee – 30 gms
Salt to taste

Method:
1. Wash and soak the rice and dal together for 1 hour.
2. Drain.
3. Heat ghee in a pressure cooker.
4. Add cumin seeds, cloves and cinnamon.
5. Add turmeric powder and salt.
6. Pressure cook the khichdi for 5 minutes.
7. Serve hot.
