Ingredients:
Bengal Gram Flour – 250 gms
Carom Seeds – 1 tsp, roughly crushed
Pepper Powder – 1 tsp
Red Chilli Powder – 1 tsp
Rock Salt – 1 tsp
Oil – 2 tblsp
Asafoetida – a pinch
Juice of 1 Lemon
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Method:
1. Mix all the ingredients well by adding 200ml of water.
2. Ensure it is of a thick consistency.
3. Heat the oil.
4. Place the batter on the sev grated and move the hands forward and backward directly on the oil.
5. Fry on medium flame till sev are done.
