How to Make Thakkali, Vellarikkai and Carrot Kosumalli Recipe

Carrot – 1, peeled and chopped fine
Cucumber – 1, peeled and chopped fine
Tomato – 1, chopped fine
Green Chilli – 1, chopped fine
Coriander Leaves – small bunch, chopped fine
Salt to taste
Lime Juice – 2 tblsp

For Tempering:
Oil – 2 tsp
Mustard Seeds – 1 tsp
Cumin Seeds – 1 tsp
Black Gram Dal – 1 tsp
Dry Red Chilli – 1, halved
Asafoetida Powder – 1/2 tsp
Curry Leaves – few

1. Mix all the vegetables with the salt.
2. Heat 2 tsp oil. Add all the ingredients for tempering.
3. When the mustard seeds splutter, add to the vegetables.
4. Add the lime juice and mix well.
5. Serve cold or at room temperature.
