Mixed Salad Recipe

Ingredients:
Carrot – 100 gms
French Beans – 100 gms
Peas – 100 gms
Noodles – 100 gms
Pineapple Slices – 2
Cream – 1 cup
Coconut – 50 gms, grated
Castor Sugar – 2 tblsp
Paneer – 100 gms, cubed
Mustard Powder – 1 tsp
Cornflour – 1 tblsp, dissolved in 1/4 cup of coconut milk
Salt to taste

Method:
1. Chop french beans and carrots into long strips.
2. Boil these strips with peas.
3. Boil noodles according to the direction on its pack.
4. Cook cornflour mixture till thick.
5. Mix cream, sugar, mustard and salt.
6. Put the mixture in a jelly mould and chill.
7. Invert on a plate covered with lettuce.
8. Decorate with pineapple slices and serve.

    Hi,
    Yes, you can def make your own ghee from butter.

    As as substitute for Jaggery, you can use Dark Brown Sugar or Muscovado Sugar or Mexican Piloncillo.

    I live in Mexico is piloncillo or mascabado sugar a good substitute for jaggery? Can I make my own ghee from butter? Thanks
