Raw Mango Kothsu Recipe

Raw Mango – 1
Asafoetida – 2 pinches
Green Chillies – 3 or 4
Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tsp
Salt as required
Jaggery – 1 tblsp
Oil and Mustard Seeds for seasoning

1. Select mango which is sweet and sour.
2. Scrape outer skin and slice into thin, broad pieces.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan, add mustard seeds, slit green chillies and then mango pieces.
4. Fry for a minute, add enough water to cover the pieces.
5. Mix salt, turmeric and jaggery.
6. Cook till mango becomes soft and mixture becomes thick.

    You can use standard Britannia cheese that you get in the super market.
