Besan Burfi Recipe

Besan Burfi
Ingredients:
Besan Flour – 1 1/4 cup
Maida – 1 1/4 cup
Sugar – 2 1/2 cups
Ghee – 250 gms
Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp

Method:
1. Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed pan.
2. Add besan and maida.
3. Fry till golden and add cardamom powder.
4. Remove and keep aside.
5. In a separate pan, add enough water and sugar to make a two string consistency sugar syrup.
6. Pour the sugar syrup into the flour mixture and mix well.
7. Transfer to a greased plate and keep aside to cool.
8. Cut into desired shapes.
9. Serve.

    You can use standard Britannia cheese that you get in the super market.
