Sooji (Rava) Kheer

Sooji Kheer

Ingredients:
Rava (Sooji) – 150 gms
Milk – 1 litre
Milk Maid – 1 cup
Sugar – 1 cup
Cardamom Powder – 1 tsp
Rose Water – 1 tblsp
Ghee – 1/4 cup
Cashewnuts – few
Raisins – few

Method:
1. Boil the rava with 1 1/2 cups of water and drain.
2. Bring the milk to a boil and add sugar, boiled rava.
3. Stir well.
4. Heat little ghee in a pan.
5. Fryt he cashewnuts and raisins for 30 to 45 seconds.
6. Add to the rava mixture along with milk maid, cardamom powder and rose water.
7. Mix well and keep it in the fridge for 1 to 2 hours.
8. Serve chilled.
