Ingredients:
1 large Pomfret, cut into pieces
1 tbsp Lemon juice
Salt
Grind for the marinade:
1 1/2 tsp Red pepper powder
2 cloves of Garlic
1 tsp Coriander seeds
15 ml Vinegar
1/4 tsp Amchur powder
2 tsp Lemon juice
a pinch of Fenugreek seeds
8 gms Ginger
For the seasoning:
1/2 tbsp Cumin seeds
2 tbsp Amchur powder
1 tbsp Ghee
Salt to taste
Method:
1. Wash and dry the fish.
2. Make slits all over. Rub in the lemon juice and salt.
3. Keep aside for an hour.
4. Rub the marinade paste into the fish pieces and marinate for 2 hours.
5. Grill in an oven for 10-15 minutes.
6. Season and serve hot with chopped onions and slit green chillies.
