Vendakka Thoran Recipe

Ingredients:
Pepper powder – a pinch
Ladys finger (Vendakka) – 5
Green chilli – 2, slit
Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
Oil – 2 tbsp
Onion – 1, large and finely chopped
Salt as per taste

Method:
1. Cut ladys finger into two pieces. Then slit them in the middle.
2. Take oil in a pan and heat it. Crackle the mustard seeds. Then put in onion, green chillies and ladys finger. Sprinkle a little salt. Blend thoroughly. Cover with a lid. Keep stirring after every 3 minutes. Make sure that you dont add any water.
3. As soon as the onion becomes brown and the ladys finger shrivels up, sprinkle pepper powder.
4. Serve hot with rice.
