Banana Fry Recipe

Ripe bananas – 4, split into 2 halves
Rice powder – 1 cup
Flour (maida) – 1/2 cup
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Water as required
Oil – 500 gms
Sugar – 3 tsp
Salt as per taste

1. Mix maida, rice powder, turmeric and sugar and add water as required to make thick batter, similar to a dosa batter.
2. Coat the banana pieces with the batter and deep fry in sufficient hot oil.
3. Take out when they have turned slightly brown.
4. Serve hot.
