Cooking time: 27 mins.
2 cups grated carrot
½ cup sugar
2 cups milk
4 tbsp dried whole milk (fresh grated khoya)
1 tbsp ghee
1 tbsp raisins
1 tbsp flaked almonds (badam)
a pinch of cardamom powder (elaichi)
1. Microwave ghee in a microwave safe bowl at 100% power for 30 secs. Add grated carrots. Microwave at 100% power for about 5 mins.
2. Add milk, sugar and dried whole milk. Microwave at 100% power for 10 mins. Stir in between. And then microwave for 10 mins. at 60% power.
3. Sprinkle the cardamom powder, raisins, almonds and microwave covered at 100% power for 2 mins. Allow to stand for 5 mins.
4. Serve hot.
