Murgh Jalfrezi Recipe

Chicken – 400 gms, boneless, cut into bite-sized pieces
Onion Paste – 3 1/2 tblsp
Tomato Puree – 1/4 cup
Ginger Garlic Paste – 3 tblsp
Onions – 1/4 cup, diced
Tomatoes – 2 tblsp, diced
Capsicum – 2 tblsp, diced
Garam Masala Powder – 1 tsp
Oil for frying

1. Heat 1/2 tblsp oil in a pan.
2. Saute the onion paste for 4 minutes and add the tomato puree.
3. Cook for 10 minutes and remove.
4. Combine the ginger garlic paste and salt in a bowl.
5. Marinate the chicken pieces in this for 2 hours.
6. In another pan, heat oil over moderate flame.
7. Saute the reserved onion mixture, capsicums and tomatoes.
8. Add the chicken pieces and stir-fry till chicken is cooked.
9. Serve hot.
