Dal Mash Recipe

Dal mash – 250 gms
Ghee – 1/4 cup
Ginger – 1 tbsp, chopped
Onion – 1, finely chopped
Garlic – 1 tbsp, chopped
Mint leaves as required
Onion – 1, chopped
Jeera – 1 tsp, roasted and ground
Red chillies – 6, crushed
White jeera whole – 1 tsp
Water – 2 cups

1. Wash and soak dal for 1 hour.
2. Add all the masalas to the dal and cook on a medium flame.
3. When water dries, put finely chopped mint leaves, jeera and fried onions and 1/4 cup ghee on the top.
