Ingredients:
Masoor dal – 1 1/2 cups
Greens – 2 cups (palak, methi and coriander)
Onion – 1, chopped
Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
Amchur powder – 2 tsp
Tomato – 1, chopped
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder – 3/4 tsp
Ghee – 3 tbsp
Salt as per taste
Water as required
Make a smooth paste
Garlic – 6 cloves
Green chillies – 6
Ginger – 1 inch piece
Method:
1. Cook the dal separately with 2 cups of water.
2. Heat the ghee in a wok, add the onion and cumin seeds and fry for atleast 2 minutes.
3. Add the cooked dal, the greens, amchur powder, tomato, turmeric powder, chilli powder, paste and salt and cook for a few minutes.
4. Serve hot.
