Ingredients for Koat Pitha (Banana Pitha)
Ripe and mashed bananas – 6 pieces
Sieved rice flour – 1 cup
Grated jaggery – 1 cup
Oil or vanaspati – 250 gms
1. Mix the jaggery and the mashed bananas properly.
2. Add the sieved rice flour slowly into the mixture.
3. Fry the batter slowly in hot oil, keeping it on a medium flame.
4. When the pithas turn golden brown, drain them on brown paper and serve.
