Sel Roti

Rice – 1kg
Wheat flour – 250 gms
Milk – 500 ml
Ghee – 100 gms
Sugar – 200 gms

1. To make rice flour, wash and soak rice overnight and grind into fine powder.
2. Batter the rice flour with ghee, sugar, milk and 2 cups of water, and allow it to ferment for 4 hours during summer and 24 hours during winter at room temperature.
3. Squeeze the leavened batter by hand and deposit it as a continous ring onto the hot edible oil. Fry them till they become golden brown.
4. Serve hot.
