Ingredients:
Black gram – 250 gms
Chopped onion – 1/2
Ginger paste – 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
Sliced garlic cloves – 4 flakes
Ghee – 1 tbsp
Mustard oil – 1 tsp
Salt – 2 tsp
Method:
1. Add turmeric powder, ginger paste and 1 tsp of mustard oil to the rinsed and soaked black gram and boil until the dal gets softened.
2. Fry the onion and garlic in hot ghee.
3. Mix the cooked dal with the sauted onions and salt and mix well.
