Bhog ki Kheer

Ingredients:
1/2 cup long-grained rice
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp almond powder
5 cups milk
1 tsp cardamom powder
a pinch of saffron

Method:
1. Cook rice in a little water till soft in a pressure pan.
2. Heat milk to a thick and creamy consistency.
3. Add mashed, drained rice, sugar, almond, saffron and cardamom powders.
4. Cook till creamy.
5. Serve with puris.
