Ginger Pickle

ginger 400 - Ginger Pickle
Ginger – 1 cup, peeled and finely shredded
Sugar – 4 tblsp
Lemon Juice – 1/4 cup
Red Chilli Powder – 1 tblsp
Asafoetida Powder – 1 tsp
Salt as per taste

1. Combine all the ingredients in a pan.
2. Place the pan over high flame and bring to a boil.
3. Reduce flame to low and simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
4. Remove and cool.
5. Transfer to a clean jar and cover with a lid.
6. Use as required.
