Leftover dosai or Idli batter – 4 cups
Onion (finely chopped) – 1 large
Green chillies (finely chopped) – 6
Coriander Leaves – 1/2 cup
Oil – 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds – 1/2 tsp
Split balck gram dal – 1/2 tsp
Oil for frying
1. Heat oil in a pan and temper with mustard seeds and split balck gram dal , and add to the batter. Mix well.
2. Pour out dosais on tawa about 1/4″ to 3/8″ thick. Sprinkle the chopped ingredients evenly. Pour a tablespoon of oil round the dosai and cover with a lid. Turn over the other side and allow to brown.
3. Serve hot with any chutney.
