Punjabi Chickpeas Salad Recipe

A simple, nutritious and healthy salad with Chickpeas.
Chickpeas Salad

Chickpeas – 200 gms, boiled, drained, rinsed
Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tblsp
Onion – 1/4 cup, finely chopped
Coriander Leaves – handful, chopped
Tomatoes – 1/4 cup, finely chopped, seeds removed
Chaat Masala Powder – 1 tsp (adjust as per taste)
Mint Leaves – few, finely chopped
Lemon Juice – 1 tblsp
Extra-Virgin Olive Oil – 2 tsp
Sugar – a small pinch

1. Dry roast the cumin seeds for 30 seconds and grind to a coarse powder.
2. Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl.
3. Toss well until evenly combined.
4. Keep aside for 15 to 30 minutes.
5. Serve at once.
