Bread Poha Recipe

Bread – 1 cup, crusts removed, chopped
Green Peas – 1/4 cup, cooked
Peanuts – 1/4 cup, roasted, peeled
Oil – 1/2 tblsp
Green Chillies  1/4 tsp, finely chopped
Water – 2 tblsp
Lemon Juice – 1/4 tblsp
Coriander Leaves – few, chopped
Coconut – 1 tblsp, grated
Lemon Wedge – 1
Asafoetida Powder – a pinch
Mustard Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Curry Leaves – few
Red Chilli – 1, whole
Turmeric Powder – a pinch
Salt as per taste

1. Heat oil in a pan.
2. Fry the red chilli, curry leaves, mustard seeds and asafoetida powder.
3. After 30 seconds, add the green peas, turmeric powder and peanuts.
4. Stir well.
5. Add bread pieces and salt.
6. Add water and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
7. Reduce flame to low and add green chillies, lemon juice and coriander leaves.
8. Transfer to a plate.
9. Garnish with coriander leaves, lemon wedge and coconut.
10. Serve at once.
