2 tbsp Wheatgerm, cleaned
1 tbsp green gram dal
2 cups Water
Salt to taste
1 cup hot Milk (optional)

Wash the dal and mix with the wheatgerm
Soak the germ in the water for 5 minutes.
Add salt, stir.
Put to boil and stir continuously till boiling stage is received.
Partially cover and cook on low till the germ is fully cooked.
Stir frequently in between, adding more water if required.
When pressed between the thumb and finger, the germ should break easily. Then it is done.
Alternatively, you can pressure cook with 2 whistle
Serve hot with milk or with salted curd or can eat plain with 1/4 tsp ghee
