Ingredients:
Gooseberry (Nellikkai) – 10, washed, cut into pieces without seeds
Curd – 2 cups
Coconut – 1 cup, grated
Green Chilli – 2
Ginger – a small piece
Salt as per taste
Oil – 1 tsp
Mustard – 1/2 tsp
Urad Dal – 1 tsp
Asafetida Powder – a pinch
Method:
1. Grind gooseberry, coconut, green chillies and ginger to a fine paste
2. Beat curd and add the gooseberry paste along with salt.
3. Mix well.
4. Heat oil in a pan
5. Add mustard, urad dal and asafetida powder.
6. Fry for 30 seconds and pour into the pachadi.
7. Serve.
