This is one of the key ingredient in many Chaat varieties. This chutney can also be used as a sandwich spread or as a dip.
Ingredients:
Coriander Leaves – 1/2 cup
Mint Leaves – 1/2 cup
Green Chillies – 3
Ginger – a small pice
Lemon – 1
Cumin Seeds – 1/2 tsp
Jaggery – 1 tsp
Black Salt – 1 tsp
Salt as per taste
Method:
1. Squeeze the juice out of the lemon.
2. Combine all the ingredients in a mixer jar.
3. Grind to a smooth paste.
4. Remove and transfer to a cup.
5. Use as required.
