Seppankizhangu Varuval

Ingredients:
Seppankizhangu (Colocasia/Arbi) – 15 to 20
Sambar Powder – 2 tsp
Salt – 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tsp
Rice Flour – 2 tsp
Corn Flour – 1 tsp
Oil as required

Method:
1. Wash the seppankizhangu well.
2. Pressure cook in 1/4 cup of water for 2 to 3 whistles and remove.
3. Peel and chop into 2 or 3 pieces.
4. Spread them on a large plate.
5. Sprinkle the sambar powder, salt, turmeric powder, rice flour and corn flour on top.
6. Gently mix well.
7. Heat oil in a deep frying pan.
8. Fry the seppankizhangu pieces until crisp and golden brown.
9. Remove and drain excess oil.
10. Serve hot as a snack or as a side dish.
