Ingredients:
Sapota (Chikoo) – 4, big, peeled, chopped
Rawa – 150 gms
Ghee – 50 gms
Sugar – 200 gms
Sunflower Oil – 10 ml
Cashewnuts – 2 tsp
Raisins – 2 tsp
Cardamoms – 5, powdered
Method:
1. Grind the sapota pieces in a mixie and remove.
2. Heat oil in a pan over medium flame.
3. Fry the cashewnuts, raisins and rawa for 2 minutes or until golden.
4. Add the sapota, sugar and 200 ml of water.
5. Mix well and simmer for a few minutes.
6. Add the cardamom powder and stir gently.
7. Add ghee and stir again.
8. Remove from flame and cool.
9. Serve.
Tip: Do not keep it on flame for long otherwise the colour might change.
