Aval is also known as Flattened Rice/Poha/Chivda. This is a quick and easy snack recipe using readily available ingredients. No cooking necessary.

Rolled Oats – 1 cup
Honey – 2 tsp
Dry Ginger Powder – a pinch
Cardamom Powder – a pinch
Mixed Fruits – 1 cup, finely chopped (guava, mango, papaya, jackfruit and pomegranate or as desired)

1. Wash the oats in enough water and drain well.
2. Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well.
3. Keep aside for 2 minutes.
4. Serve at once.
