Aurora Borealis Recipe

Like a pousse-café, this spectacular coloured drink should not be mixed or stirred. Let it swirl around the glass, creating a multi-coloured effect, and try to guess the various flavours.

Ingredients:

  • Vodka – 2 parts, iced
  • Green Chartreuse – 2 parts, iced
  • Orange Curacao – 1 part, iced
  • Few drops of Cassis, iced

Method:

  1. Pour the vodka slowly around one side of a well-chilled shot glass.
  2. Gently pour the green chartreuse around the other side.
  3. Pour the curacao gently into the middle.
  4. Add a few drops of cassis just before serving.
  5. Don’t stir.
  6. Serve.
