Godhuma Rava Payasam (Broken Wheat Payasam)

Ingredients:
Godhuma Rawa – 1 cup
Coconut – 1 cup, grated, ground
Milk – 1 cup
Jaggery – 1 1/2 cups, powdered
Cashewnuts – 10
Cardamom Powder – 1/2 tsp
Ghee – 2 tsp

Method:
1. Heat ghee in a frying pan.
2. Fry the cashenwuts and keep aside.
3. Add the godumai rava to the same pan and fry till golden.
4. Pour enough water and cook for 2 to 3 minutes over low flame.
5. Add the jaggery and stir well until jaggery has fully dissolved.
6. Simmer for another 2 to 3 minutes.
7. Add the ground coconut and bring to a boil.
8. Remove from flame.
9. Add the fried cashwenuts and cardamom powder.
10. Mix well.
11. Serve.

    Is this fresh coconut or the dried one. please confirm as I always have this doubt.
