Sweet Aval Pongal

Rolled Aval – 1 cup
Coconut – 1/2 cup, grated
Brown Sugar – 1/4 cup
Dates – 1/4 cup, finely chopped
Cardamom Powder – a pinch
Raisins – 10
Glazed Cherries – 5, chopped

1. Wash and soak the oats in water for 10 minutes. Drain well.
2. Add coconut, brown sugar, dates, cherries, raisins and cardamom powder.
3. Mix well.
4. Serve at once.
