Ingredients

  • Olive Oil (50 ml + 1 tsp)
  • 200 g Minced Lamb
  • 100 g Green Peas (frozen (thawed))
  • 2 tbsp Tikka Paste
  • 1 Onion (grated)
  • 1 Carrot (peeled and grated)
  • 2 tsp Mint Leaves - 2 tsp
  • 1 tbsp Mango Chutney - 1 tbsp
  • 3 sheets Filo Pastry Sheets - 3 sheets
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper Powder (to taste)

Instructions

  • Heat 1/2 tsp oil in a large pan; add minced Lamb, salt, and pepper. Brown the Lamb.
  • Add tikka paste and cook for an additional minute.
  • Introduce carrots and onions; add 1/2 tsp oil and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Transfer the mixture to a bowl; add mint leaves, mango chutney, and peas.
  • Brush filo pastry sheets with olive oil; add 2 tbsp of the lamb mixture, fold into samosa shapes, and brush with more oil.
  • Place the prepared samosas on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 200C/400F for 30 minutes or until golden, turning once or twice.
  • Remove, drain excess oil, and serve hot with chutney and salad.
