Red Aval/Poha

Ingredients:
Red Aval (Poha) – 1 1/2 cups
Beans – 1/2 cup, finely chopped
Capsicum – 1, chopped
Bay Leaf – 1
Onion – 2, chopped
Carrot – 2, grated
Green Chillies – 3, chopped
Cloves – 3
Cardamoms – 3
Green Peas – 2 tblsp
Soy Sauce – 2 tblsp
Ghee – 2 tblsp
Cinnamon – 1/2 inch piece
Lemon – 1/2
Salt as per taste

Method:
1. Soak the aval for 10 minutes and drain.
2. Heat ghee in a pan.
3. Saute the cloves, cinnamon, cardamoms and bay leaf for a minute.
4. Add carrot, onions, beans, capsicums, green chillies, green peas and salt.
5. Mix well.
6. Add soy sauce and stir well.
7. Add the aval and mix until evenly combined.
8. Cover the pan with a lid for 5 minutes.
9. Remove and serve hot.
