Golden rum has a mellow, slightly milder taste, but you could use dark rum here for a really stormy mix.
Ingredients:
- Golden Rum – 1 part
- Lime Juice – 1/2 part
- Sugar Syrup – 1/4 part
- Ice
- Ginger Beer
- Slice of Lime
- Lime Peel Twist
Method:
- Combine and shake the rum, lime juice and sugar syrup over ice.
- Strain into a chilled glass.
- Top up with ginger beer.
- Garnish with a lime slice and lime peel twist.
- Serve.
