Sangria and sangree are usually red, but there is a precedent for a white drink in sangria blanco, made with white wine.
Ingredients:
- Gin – 4 parts
- Sugar Syrup – 1 tsp
- Sparkling Water
- Port – 2 tblsp
- Nutmeg – grated
- Ice
Method:
- Pour the gin and sugar syrup into a chilled tumbler over ice.
- Top up with sparkling water and stir gently.
- Float the port on top and sprinkle grated nutmeg on top.
- Serve.
