Gin Sangaree Recipe

Sangria and sangree are usually red, but there is a precedent for a white drink in sangria blanco, made with white wine.

Ingredients:

  • Gin – 4 parts
  • Sugar Syrup – 1 tsp
  • Sparkling Water
  • Port – 2 tblsp
  • Nutmeg – grated
  • Ice

Method:

  1. Pour the gin and sugar syrup into a chilled tumbler over ice.
  2. Top up with sparkling water and stir gently.
  3. Float the port on top and sprinkle grated nutmeg on top.
  4. Serve.
