Genoese Recipe

A misleadingly pure-looking Italian offering with fiery Sambuca and more than a touch of the unforgiving grappa.

Ingredients:

  • Vodka – 2 parts
  • Grappa – 2 parts
  • Sambuca – 1 part
  • Dry Vermouth – 1 part
  • Ice cubes

Method:

  1. Shake the liquid ingredients vigorously over ice until well frosted.
  2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  3. Serve chilled.
