Rompope Recipe

This is Mexico’s version of the better-known Dutch Advocaat, a thick, yellow, custardy treat for the sweet-toothed.

Ingredients:

  • Sweetened Condensed Milk – 175 ml
  • Chilled Milk – 150 ml
  • Egg Yolks – 2
  • Vanilla Extract – 1/8 tsp
  • Vodka – 75 ml
  • Cinnamon – 1/8 tsp
  • Cinnamon Stick to garnish

Method:

  1. Reserve the cinnamon and mix all the other ingredients in a blender for 45 seconds.
  2. Strain and chill.
  3. Pour into glasses and dust with cinnamon.
  4. Serve.
