Frozen Daiquiri Recipe

When summer temperatures reach a sweltering high, the favourite Cuban libation to cool things down is this frothy daiquiri, based on El Floridita’s recipe.

Ingredients:

  • White Rum – 2 ounces
  • Fresh Lime Juice – 3/4 ounce
  • Superfine Sugar – 1 tsp
  • Dash of Maraschino Liqueur

Method:

  1. Combine all the ingredients with 1/2 cup crushed ice.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Pour into a chilled cocktail glass.
  4. Serve with a straw.
