This aromatic rum martini gets a splash of sophistication from Calvados, the fine apple brandy made in Normandy, France. If you don’t feel like splurging on a high-end aged Calvados, purchase a younger one.
- Light Rum – 1 1/2 ounces
- Calvados (or Applejack) – 3/4 ounce
- Ice Cubes
- Sweet Vermouth – 1/2 tsp
- Stir the ingredients in a mixing glass with ice.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
