The classic summer combination goes to the beach and gets a splash of equatorial spirits. This drink is at its best when made with a good quality dark rum from Jamaica, Bermuda or Haiti.
- Dark Rum – 2 ounces
- Tonic Water – 3 to 4 ounces, chilled
- Lime Wedge
- Pour the liquid ingredients into an ice-filled highball glass.
- Stir well.
- Run the lime wedge around the rim.
- Squeeze it over the drink and drop it in.
