Take a look at the ingredients below and you can probably guess how and why this cocktail was given its name.

Ingredients:

  • Brandy – 1 part
  • Sloe Gin – 1 part
  • Juice of 1 Lemon
  • Egg White – 1
  • Ice Cubes
  • Lemon slice to garnish

Method:

  1. Place 4 or 5 ice cubes in a cocktail shaker.
  2. Add the brandy, gin, lemon juice and, finally, the egg white.
  3. Shake well.
  4. Strain into a Martini glass.
  5. Garnish with a lemon slice.
  6. Serve.
