Typhoon Recipe

At first glance, this cocktail may seem elegant and refined, but within the bubbly is a monsoon of flavors and a potency that suggests you hang on to that palm tree before you have another.

Ingredients:

  • Gin – 1 ounce
  • Dash of Pernod
  • Fresh Lime Juice – 1/2 ounce
  • Chilled Champagne – 4 ounces
  • Lime Twist

Method:

  1. Shake the gin, Pernod and lime juice vigorously with ice.
  2. Strain into an ice-filled glass.
  3. Slowly top with champagne and stir gently.
  4. Garnish with the lime twist.
  5. Serve.
