A Brandy Alexander has been a welcome party guest since the twenties. This chocolate/brandy concoction is sometimes served up in a chilled martini glass, or sometimes on the rocks.
Ingredients:
- 1 ounce brandy
- 1 ounce dark crème de cacao
- 1 ounce heavy cream (2 tablespoons)
Method:
- Fill a cocktail shaker three-quarters full with ice.
- Add all the ingredients, cover, and shake well.
- Strain into a chilled martini glass without ice.
- Or strain into a small cocktail glass with fresh ice.
