Also known as the Chelsea Hotel or Gin Sidecar, this is a signature drink from the Chelsea Hotel in New York. A variation on the classic Sidecar, the Chelsea version replaces the Cognac with gin.
- Gin – 2 ounces
- Cointreau – 3/4 ounce
- Fresh Lemon Juice – 1/2 ounce
- Lemon Twist
- Rub the rim of a chilled cocktail glass with the lemon peel.
- Shake the liquid ingredients vigorously with ice.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with the lemon twist.
