The signature characteristic of the Gibson is a pickled onion garnish. Though the drink resembles the martini, the Gibson has a following all its own.
Gin – 2 ounces
Dry Vermouth – 1/4 ounce
Pearl Cocktail Onion
1. Stir the gin and vermouth in a mixing glass with ice.
2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
3. Garnish with the onion.
